Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, leaving a few small lumps for texture.

Add the Greek yogurt, eggs, and honey (or maple syrup) to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.

In another bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

If using, fold in nuts or chocolate chips at this point.
